Our Parsha Questions are crafted to be challenging even to Talmidei Chachamim but answerable by anyone who pays careful attention to the Krias HaTorah. I saw this practiced in Marlboro, NJ. They are meant to be presented before Krias HaTorah and answered afterwards, giving everyone the chance to show the answer chapter and verse. I usually include some that are simple so that everyone can participate. I find that it increases attention to Krias HaTorah and is mentally stimulating both for the audience and for me.
1. What is the singular of ענבים
32:14
2. In Megillas Eicha, isolation is seen as a tragedy. Where in this Parsha do we see that it can also be a positive for Klal Yisrael.
23:9
3. Find a remez for techiyas
hameisim in the parsha.
Corollary: why is it that we never find explicit mentions of
kiyum haneshama, much less techiyas hameisim, in Torah she'biksav, until the
time of the Neviim.
32:39
4. Where do we find that in cases of tortious interference, the malefactor is liable for opportunity cost. In other words- that where a person wrongly disrupts a relationship between two parties, he is liable for the resulting loss of a benefit.
32:51
